Ryan Gilmer—President and CEO
Mr. Gilmer, a multigenerational railroader, brings extensive expertise using technology to enhance workflow processes, improve safety, and ensure regulatory compliance. Mr. Gilmer is also a member of the Project Management Institute, has held Top Secret clearance with the U.S. Department of Defense, and holds state certifications in responding to hazardous materials incidents.
In 1997, Mr. Gilmer founded techniques.org, Inc., a company that developed e-learning and instructor-led training for large institutional clients, including the U.S. Department of Defense. Under his leadership, techniques.org was profitable and grew steadily every year since inception. Recently, techniques.org merged with The Regis Company to broaden the scope of e-learning products offered. Before founding techniques.org, Mr. Gilmer managed large-scale technology development projects for the U.S. Department of Defense, Dow Chemicals, GE Plastics, and Walt Disney Company.
Michael Kester—Vice President of Finance and Strategy
Mr. Kester is a former consultant with McKinsey & Company where he managed client teams as part of manufacturing company turnarounds, go-to-market strategy implementations, product development process implementations, and financial due diligence for private equity investments. Mr. Kester also worked as a Financial Analyst for Lehman Brother's Merchant Banking group.
